We are hiring a Production Operator – Premix – 3rd Shift
Location: Pendergrass, GA

Shift: Sun–Thurs. (10PM – 6:30AM)

Sign On Bonus:  $2,000.00

 

We are looking for an organized self-starter who is reliable and conscientious to join our team as a Production Operator. You’ll be responsible for:

 

  • Working unsupervised in pre-weigh, batch build, and production areas
  • Handling, transporting, weighing, and dumping of raw materials
  • Completion of 3PRM sampling and visual inspection and release activities
  • Printing, inspection, and reconciliation of batch labels for premixes
  • Completing final packaging activities— process monitoring and quality plan lab submissions as well as safely palletizing and storing raw materials and/or finished goods
  • Monitoring equipment and production process parameters and recording process conditions and actions as well as advising Lead Utility Mechanic of maintenance issues to ensure continuous efficient operation of process
  • Reporting deviations found within the process, 3PRM, and finished goods. Assist in quality related deviation investigations and corrective actions taken in response.
  • Completing housekeeping activities including completion of tasks noted on the Master Sanitation Schedule within area of responsibility in compliance with guidelines, orders, and instructions. cGMPs, 5S, and other programs/requirements that fall into housekeeping requirements must be followed.
  • Completing all required computer-based training modules on Training Compass and attend formal training classes (e.g., safety, quality, problem solving, SDS, etc.)
  • Shipping and receiving warehouse duties as assigned by Plant Manager

   

What we like to see in your experience:

 

  • High School diploma, or equivalent
  • Capability to perform basic reading, writing, and simple math calculations
  • Experience operating computers
  • Experience in forklift operation
  • 6 months of related experience preferred
