Location: Parsippany, NJ - Hybrid

 

This position is eligible for the DSM Hybrid Working model, spending 2 to 3 days in the Parsippany office and the remaining weekdays at a home office that is commutable to Parsippany.

 

HR Shared Service (HRSS) is one of the building blocks of the P&O operating model and serves all employees and managers, globally. HRSS is accountable to put in place a future proof, efficient and scalable organization, with a Global Service Center for transactional activities, a Service Desk for employee enquiries and customer-facing satellite teams in key locations. On both a global and regional level, HRSS leads transactional activities, employee data management, payroll, reporting, learning, compensation & benefits administration, digitization of the P&O processes and vendor management. HRSS can provide a (tech-enabled) employee experience that, through its simplicity and automation, drives value for all our stakeholders.

 

What You’ll Do:

The People Experience Specialist will be responsible for P&O activities within the HR Shared Services team. Driven by an understanding of end-to-end HR processes and systems, a tiered model of operation and in collaboration with the Regional Relationship Manager and other HRSS team members, the People Experience Specialist is challenged to ensure stable execution of multiple HR processes in the region. Leveraging a background in US benefits, the specialist will place a continuous focus on service improvements. In this key role, it is critical to manage & communicate effectively with Stakeholders, understand end to end HR processes/ systems and participate in projects sometimes around ambiguous circumstances.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead various HR specialist activities in the US/ Canada
  • Support US benefits activities including compliance, communications, and vendor management
  • Analyze and report on benefits data. Research and respond to internal and external requests for H&W information.
  • Act as a liaison between P&O stakeholders and Tier 2 support activities, to ensure smooth interaction between P&O stakeholders (e.g., managers, employees, PST) and HRSS
  • Improve the overall employee experience by strengthening the how HR Services delivers content and processes
  • Able to communicate effectively, delivering easy-to-understand information for customers in a timely manner.
  • Be constantly aware of efficiencies or improvement in the activities performed and/or the work processes. 

 

You bring:

  • At Minimum, bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Business or related discipline
  • 5 or more years of experience in Human Resources Operations, including HRIS, and US benefits
  • Vendor management expereince required
  • Experience in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central preferred
  • Exceptional adherence to detail, efficiency and accuracy
  • A courageous team member who embraces change and new ideas
  • Enthusiastic collaborator who works to find solutions together
  • Be able to work under tight deadlines, with flexibility
  • Good reporting analytics skills
  • Excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills. Ability to identify and drive continuous improvements
