The Challenge

The content expert will have responsibility for governance internally within the HRSS organization and externally with service providers; Manage & communicate effectively with Stakeholders; Understand end to end HR processes and systems; ensure updated and sufficient content available to enable Tier model’s operation; Is able to initiate and execute continuous improvements with service delivery managers; Manage projects and change effectively, sometimes under ambiguous circumstances.


The Position 

HR Shared Service is a part of DSM’s Group Business Services (GbS) group that creates, executes and refines the operational part of the HR processes, tooling, products and services with the aim to execute them within agreed service levels, with continuous improvements and cost competitive. Operating the global harmonized processes with country specific compliance requirements, the execution is done by external outsourcing partners or captive within the service deliver centers in the regions/countries.

The Service Delivery Teams within HRSS, offer a range of services in the field of payroll, workforce admin, new hire coordination, on boarding support, L&D coordination, Total rewards support, etc., and managed in line with compliance control.  

  • Monitor end-to-end delivery of services across multiple HR functions payroll, time tracking, new hire coordination, on boarding support, L&D coordination, Total rewards support, Leaves etc.
  • Manage & lead critical projects, collaborating with external suppliers, internal stakeholders like COE and other service delivery team members
  • Support the operationalization of new services and facilitate effective transition of knowledge from Global projects to regional operations (i.e. Master Data Management, Talent Suite etc.)
  • Able to monitor local interfaces for any errors, support IT in issue resolution and handle kick-outs as needed
  • Able to communicate effectively, delivering easy-to-understand information for customers in a timely manner.
  • Analyze and follow-up on Root causes, helping prevent repeating incidents
  • Initiate and execute continuous improvements with Service Delivery manager
  • Monitor and drive Tier 0 content usage by proactively gathering information from different (re)sources, internal DSM stakeholders (CoE, Global HR, projects, Fiscal Affairs and Legal Affairs) and external service providers
  • Deliver necessary customized ad-hoc reporting if it’s not in self-service tooling
  • Deliver recurring training to different Stakeholder groups and effectively manage them


The Ideal

  • At Minimum, Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management, Business or related discipline
  • 5 or more years of experience in Human Resources;  
  • Basic knowledge of benefits and/or payroll a strong plus
  • Exceptional adherence to detail, efficiency and accuracy
  • Be able to work under tight deadlines, with flexibility
  • Strong knowledge of HR systems such as SAP, Successfactor, etc.
  • Good reporting analytics skills
  • Good project management skills incl. change management is preferred
  • Excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills. Ability to identify and drive continuous improvements
  • Good command of English both oral and written
  • Affinity with employee, HRBP and line management
