Job title – Operator, Packer

Location – Moorebank, Sydney

This role is responsible for the accurate picking and packing of customer orders for dairy cultures, ensuring all shipments are prepared and dispatched on time to meet customer expectations and business requirements.

This role is integral to the success of the Sydney Site and dsm-firmenich Food & Beverage business unit.

Your key responsibilities

Pick and pack DVC (frozen) and DSL (freeze-dried) cultures
Review packing lists to insure all required items are included
Report any errors in pick list to the Packing Coordinator
Ensure full quantity of correctly labelled bags are available for order packing when required
Set up electronic scales and sealing equipment prior to use
Identify and drive improvements in packing standards in line with Quality, SHE & GMP standards

You bring

School Certificate or equivalent
Minimum two years’ experience in a production, packing or warehousing environment
Self-motivated and physically capable of performing tasks that involve bending, lifting, and other repetitive movements
Strong communication skills, with the ability to accurately interpret pick lists, labeling instructions, and related documentation
Computer literacy
