Kingstree, SC (M-F 7:30am-4pm)
As a Logistics Operator, you’ll play a critical role in keeping operations running smoothly by managing the shipping, receiving, storage, and reconciliation of materials. You’ll ensure accurate inventory control and prepare materials to support efficient production operations.
Your key responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles and equipment (including forklifts) to load, unload, and transport materials.
- Accurately complete required documentation, maintain inventory records, and comply with GMP and quality paperwork standards.
- Repackage, prepare, and transfer materials for production use, including converting between standard and metric measurements.
- Transfer materials to and from road tankers, rail cars, and freezer areas (down to ‑20°F), requiring climbing, bending, stooping, and working in confined or extreme environments.
- Attach and remove flanges and couplings on rail cars to prepare for use or return; perform tasks at height or underneath equipment as required.
- Maintain a clean, orderly work area; follow all quality procedures, report deviations or non‑conformances, and support routine quality briefings as applicable.

You bring
- High school diploma or GED required; 2+ years of relevant work experience preferred
- Experience with tractor trailers or yard jockey operations is a plus
- Ability to safely operate company vehicles and equipment, including forklifts
- Ability to work in cold freezer environments, with temperatures as low as ‑20°F
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and effective oral and written communication
- Flexibility to work overtime as business needs require
The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Hourly rate is $19.00.
