As an Operator, within our logistics team, you will be responsible for shipping/receiving, reconciliation, and storing of materials in warehouse areas.  Ensure items are inventoried properly and prepare materials for use in production areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Use of Company vehicles (to include forklifts) and equipment to load/unload and transport materials in a safe manner. 
  • Complete accurate documentation and maintain correct inventory of items; adhering to GMP practices and paperwork requirements.
  • Repackage and preparation of materials for use in production areas, may involve converting measurements between standard and metric versions.
  • Transfer of materials to and from rail cars, attach flanges and couplings to prepare cars for use and break down for return, which requires bending, stooping, and crawling under rail cars.
  • Transfer of materials to and from road tankers and rail cars, which requires climbing vertical ladders to perform various tasks on top of rail cars and over the road tankers.
  • Transfer of materials to and from freezer areas, which requires working in extremely cold environment, as cold as -20o Fahrenheit. Additional duties may be assigned as needed for the position.

You bring

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting required.
  • Truck Driving experience is a plus.
  • Ability to operate company vehicle(s) including forklifts/ Spotter trucks (yard dog) to move trailers to and from loading docks.
  • Good oral and written communication skills
