3rd Shift Supervisor-Premix

Location: Ontario, CA

What You’ll Do:

This position is in place to promote advancement opportunities and growth for employees with a limited staff and management experience.  A successful employee will demonstrate the ability to manage all resource-related aspects of the production environment. Responsible for producing quality premix according to a pre-determined operations plan. 

Manages a small staff of subordinate employees. Is responsible for the overall direction coordination and evaluation of these employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.

Key responsibilities:

Manage and supervise all aspects of production operation. Provide leadership and direction for the shift.

Provide safe platform for inclusion and diversity with peer to peer and shift to shift open communication. Create development plans to hep production individuals to achieve company and personal goals.

Evaluates and reviews annual Performance Appraisals for direct reports to include ACR Talent Suite input.

Manages weekly timecards and PTO approvals while still maintaining production output. Ensures employee time and attendance policies are maintained and held to standard. Manages overtime with allotted structure.

You bring:

High school diploma or equivalent required

4 to 10 years’ related experience, preferably in manufacturing, technical or GMP related industry

Supervisory experience

Advanced math skills preferred

Strong oral and written communication skills

Meticulous recordkeeping and understanding of the material

Knowledge and skills to operate a personal computer and computer driven controls systems
