Natural Extract Developer

Job title: Natural Extract Developer

Location: Grasse, France

 

Our team in Grasse is looking for a Natural Extract Developer to drive the creation and industrialization of innovative natural extracts. In this role, you will take projects from laboratory concept to full-scale production, leveraging our unique assets and expertise to deliver high-quality, nature-inspired solutions that meet evolving market needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, Execute, optimize lab and pilot trials.
  • Lead projects from lab to industrialization (including pilot and process transfer).
  • Be in charge and accountable for documentation and lab reporting.
  • Lead technical meetings with peers and management.
  • Interact with scientists, perfumers, and flavorist to deliver state-of-the-art new products for the market.
  • Interact with operation teams to ensure safety and quality up to the highest standards.

You bring:

  • MS degree in chemical engineering, process engineering, biochemical engineering or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in R&D or Production, preferably in F&F, food, cosmetics, Nutraceuticals or Specialty/Fine Chemicals.
  • Good knowledge in extraction and purification processes of Natural products (ideally F&F industry).
  • Able to work autonomously at lab scale and experience at pilot and industrial scale.
  • Strong data analysis and interpretation mindset.
  • Strong ability to multitask and prioritize work. Excellent communication skills and cross collaboration spirit; Fluent in French and English.
