In this position, you will support and improve the development of Special Nutrients, carotenoids and vitamins solutions that create additional value for customers, provide product technical and commercial support and drive projects and marketing campaigns to generate profitable growth underpinned by sales of special nutrients (Hy.D®), carotenoids and vitamins products aimed at addressing immunity, performance, product quality challenges across all major species. You will drive the regional Special Nutrient, carotenoids and vitamins segment from a strategic and technical perspective, with a primary focus on Special Nutrients across EMEA.

Your key responsibilities
- Deeply understands regional segment markets, customer needs and business drivers.
- Co-develops the regional product segment strategy in alignment with Operating Units and global.
- Interacts with local markets to align on priorities and activation plans with the local sales teams.
- Engages with regional key customers to drive business development, and support negotiations.
- Drives the product marketing & business development activities in line with budget priorities.
- Ensures good quality input in CRM, encourage pipeline opportunities and conversion into sales.
- Monitor and coordinate product innovation projects, line extension (incl. registration), regional Fees & Grants and conviction trials.
- Drives product-focused technical marketing activities (VMS, competitor benchmarking, launch package, etc…) to enable regional experts (champions), product information sharing and training.
- Identifies opportunities to combine products, services, and know-how into differentiated solutions.
- Develops solution concepts substantiated by technical data and robust argumentation.
- From a strategic and technical perspective leads the regional Special Nutrients segment across EMEA.

You bring
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong technical background in Animal Nutrition and Health; business background and strong interest in business development.
- A master’s degree in animal nutrition and health field; a business degree, certification or proven experience will be an added benefit.
- Familiarity with marketing concepts, tools, and practices in a technical, solution selling environment.
- Project management skills.
- Industry and technical species expertise; technical marketing experience of at least 2 years.
- Ability to translate technical needs, opportunities, and facts into business language.
- Ability to identify commercial opportunities and interact with key accounts in a highly consultative, solution sales approach.
- Ability and interest to interact on scientific levels and establish external profile as an industry expert.
- Ability to work cross functional and cross cultural.
- Fluency in English; any additional language would be welcome
- Team player; Organized Planner; Customer centricity; Analytical thinker.
