We are looking for a motivated:

 

Manufacturing Process Engineer

 

As the Manufacturing Process Engineer you will provide technical support and process expertise towards the final stage development, scale up, and commercialization for new and existing product lines. You will assist Research, Commercialization, & Quality Engineers tasked with developing and/or improving current and future dsm-firmenich Biomedical products/processes and will participate on project teams within the PMP/project management process. 
 

Key responsibilities

  • Monitors manufacturing processes and tracks performance;
  • Support Engineering Projects for new plants and expansion projects
  • Support running business by troubleshooting production issues and/or customer complaints;
  • Work closely with R&D on new product introductions for transfer to commercial manufacturing lines, Identify process improvements and leading role in implementing capacity expansion and/or cost reduction engineering projects;
  • Writes, reviews and updates operational procedures (e.g. MP’s, WI’s, Forms, etc.);
  • Participates in the set-up of validation plans and executes and/or coordinates process validation/qualification.

 

You bring

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Engineering – preferably in the field of Chemical (Process) Engineering or Polymer Engineering
  • 3-5 years of industrial experience in Chemical Manufacturing, Process Engineering preferably in the (medical) materials industry;
  • Knowledge or experience on fiber spinning/manufacturing is a plus;
  • Ability to effectively communicate internally and externally at a technical level; Proven ability to maintain effective data acquisition, analyses and reporting skills;
  • Self-starting and responsible work attitude with a strong drive for results
  • Good communication in spoken and written English, Dutch is not the must.

  • Based on your experience we will offer you a base salary of
    € 57,829 to € 82,613 per year (including holiday allowance and 13th month) and extra benefits, such as 25 holiday days, a bonus, the option to buy more holiday days with a 6% my choice budget and much more. Please be aware that the salary may vary based on your experience.
