We are looking for a Quality manager overseeing QC and QA in our dairy cultures production plant in Leeuwarden.
Your key responsibilities
- Quality Planning & Culture: Establish the quality plan, including quality culture, organization and an internal and external quality audit plan, seek approval for it and implement and manage the execution of this plan
- Team Leadership & Development: Shape and develop the site Quality team to continuously improve and change towards what is necessary tomorrow. Foster a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
- Auditing & Continuous Improvement: Drive that the organization learns from deviations and that deficiencies found during internal and external audits are translated into corrective actions, monitor the execution of the corrective actions and escalate to the appropriate management level, if and where required
- Budget & Project Support: Manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets for Quality Control and Assurance. Support and approve quality aspects during project planning and execution.
- Set up and maintain the relevant network with external stakeholders and represent the site towards external parties on quality topics and issues and with that build the quality mindset that puts customers first
- Participate in the site management team and contribute to the plant goals as they are described in the yearly manufacturing plan. Leading and participating in workstreams, broader than Quality only, is also expected of this role

You bring
- Proven leadership skills, good communication skills, change management skills, and organizational behavior management skills
- Strong experience with a systematic approach to Quality Management Systems
- Decisive and pragmatic with proven problem-solving capabilities
- Absolute Customer Focus
- Project management with Strong Continuous Improvement Capabilities
- Substantial data analysis skills and able to define and communicate conclusions found.
