Manager Global Preferential Origin and Trade Controls
Location: Barcelona, Spain
In a world constantly changing due to geopolitics, it is always good to put some structure internally to manage upcoming headwinds.
In this case, we are looking for someone having some scientific background who has some experiences with Free Trade Agremeents and how to apply the relevant rules of origin embedded into those texts. The selected candidate will also be embarked into the world of trade controls.
Your key responsibilities
• Staying up to date with changes in customs regulations, tariffs, trade agreements.
• Understanding Customs Classification and its role in Origin and Preferential Origin determination.
• Determination of Preferential and Non-preferential Origin.
• Setting up global guidelines on how to manage Origin and Preferential Origin.
• Providing input for Customs Optimization initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Customs regulations.
• Ensure Preferential Origin declarations are managed correctly and made available in the different systems used in the company.
• Monitor trade controls measures in our ERP system.

You bring
• University degree with scientific background.
• 3 years of working experience in managing Free Trade Agrements.
• Language: fluent in English. Other additional languages are a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP-GTS is desirable.
• Knowledge of HS Code classification.
• Good sense of compliance as a must.
• Good collaboration skills, to work with a team of experts.
