Job Title: Associate Manager GES DTS SIAM ( Change & Release)

Location: Hyderabad, India

The Change & Release Manager ensures that all technology and business changes are assessed, planned, authorized, and executed with minimal risk and maximum value. This role brings strong governance, cross‑team alignment, and structured methodologies to unify different change practices , freeze windows, CAB processes and drive enterprise‑level transformation and operational excellence.

Your key responsibilities

 

Change Governance & Process management

  • Maintain and continuously improve the Change Management process, standards, and procedures.
  • Harmonize disparate change practices across platforms and business units, ensuring consistency in risk assessment, IQMD adherence, and pre‑CAB / CAB workflows.
  • Establish and manage Change Freeze windows, exceptions and communication plans.

Change Planning & Execution

  • Evaluate high‑risk and major changes for technical soundness, business justification, validation plans, and rollback strategies.
  • Ensure proper assignment of roles (Change Owner vs. Change Coordinator) and reduce duplication or misalignment of responsibilities.
  • Facilitate PreCAB, CAB and Emergency CAB, ensuring clarity of agendas, KPIs, and compliance checks.

Compliance, Quality & Risk Management

  • Monitor compliance for change KPIs (success rate, backout rate, aging etc).
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure adherence to standards and documentation quality.
  • Identify systemic risks, recurring issues, or procedural gaps and drive root‑cause improvements.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Act as the primary liaison between operations, project teams, problem management, and leadership.
  • Communicate change impacts, risks, and required actions across global teams.
  • Partner with Incident and Problem Management to ensure integrated E2E governance.

Tooling & Process Integration

  • Drive continuous improvement across tools such as ServiceNow.
  • Ensure workflows, templates, and training materials remain aligned with current process documentation.

Promote automation, reporting enhancements, and standardization across the enterprise.

You bring

 

  • 8–12+ years in IT Service Management, including at least 5 years focused on Change Management.
  • Demonstrated experience driving change governance across global teams and multi‑vendor environments.
  • Experience harmonizing multiple change‑process frameworks as referenced in internal communication around change responsibilities and process challenges.
  • Deep understanding of ITIL4 practices (Change Enablement, Release Management, Problem Management).
  • Strong analytical skills for evaluating risk, impact, and technical documentation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities. Ability to influence across non‑hierarchical environments. Familiarity with enterprise toolsets (ServiceNow).
