Delivery Manager – Finance & Treasury
Location –Hyderabad, India
The Delivery Manager is responsible for setting up and managing the Finance & Treasury SAP service portfolio at dsm-firmenich, including systems like SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and related cloud services. Working closely with the Chapter Lead, they define service strategies, oversee vendor contracts, and ensure high-quality service delivery in a complex global environment. They also support sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and foster a collaborative “one team” approach between internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities:
- You are accountable for the delivery of the ECC & Treasury, S/4HANA (and related) services.
- You are owner of the Service contracts with the key service providers and accountable for the delivery of these services by this service provider.
- You are responsible for proper decisions and mitigations in case of service critical issues.
- You are responsible for the review and reporting of the service performance towards the dsm-firmenich business, GbS TS Management, DFO, D&T and Regional organization.
- You are responsible for the service content, references, dependencies, and availability of up-to-date service descriptions.
- You participate in development of business recovery, disaster recovery and continuity plan to deliver system availability, reliability, stability of services to meet agreed service levels.
- You over-see the identification, management and resolution of incidents, problem management, and change management, including liaison with and coordination between relevant stakeholders.
- You are responsible to track realization, verification of services delivered and invoice checks, input for tariffs, billing, and cross charging for services to the dsm- firmenich business.
- You follow global SAP trends and developments in the world and provide inputs to the technology roadmap.
- You challenge IT Suppliers on their service levels and innovation and jointly define strategic Key Performance Indicators and continuously drive improvement and find best balance between quality functionality and costs. Performance management. Fostering a high-performance culture including performance management of chapter members.
You bring:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent experience.
- +/- 10 years of experience in the domain.
- Very good understanding of, and experience with SAP S/4HANA and related SAP (cloud) services. Experiences with other SAP Cloud services are welcome.
- Knowledge on Configuring, Testing of FI sub modules - GL, AP, AR, AA, etc.
- Knowledge on Integration of FI with MM and SD, expertise in Procure to Pay and Order to cash Cycles
- Configuring Foreign currency valuation & Translation, knowledge in Month end & Year end processes
- Configuring validations, substitution rules, working with Business Transaction Events (BTE’s), interfaces (ALE & EDI)
- Expertise skills in understanding business processes in SAP with legacy systems, mappings in SAP config
- Knowledge about supporting processes in SAP clouds like change management, release and transport management.
- Strong analytical skills
- In-depth knowledge about and experience with Application Managed Services to be an equal counterpart in discussions (content, concepts, technology) and overlook the services landscape and service providers
- Fluent in English, both in writing and verbally.
- Ability to communicate in a clear and effective way to senior stakeholders and to all levels in the organization.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer and business relations skills to leverage and orchestrate diverse stakeholders with adequate sense of urgency, share insights with colleagues.
- Excellent negotiation skills and confident in dealing with conflicting interests of the various stakeholders that often clash during work.
