Job Title: Manager, D&T SAP Service Delivery Manager

Location - Hyderabad

 

Purpose of the job:

 

Within the Transactional Core / SAP Platform Services Cluster, you will be responsible for managing SAP application management services contracts across both on-premises and cloud environments. This includes ensuring that suppliers deliver services in line with agreed service levels, contractual commitments, and cost expectations. You will regularly review supplier performance, proactively addressing delivery issues to maintain operational stability and minimize escalations. In addition, you will collaborate closely with other Delivery Managers to drive a consistent and aligned approach to supplier and contract management, while jointly addressing common topics and continuous improvement initiatives across the cluster.

 

Your key responsibilities:

 

  • Manage service delivery as a Service Delivery Manager for partner-delivered services, providing direction, mentoring, performance management, and oversight across partner locations.
  • Monitor and review service performance through regular reporting, ensuring service availability, reliability, stability, and adherence to agreed SLAs.
  • Support business continuity by contributing to business recovery, disaster recovery, and continuity planning, and manage transitions from project delivery to managed operations.
  • Oversee contract and financial management, including contract extensions, purchase order creation, invoice follow-up, payments, forecasting, and license compliance.
  • Collaborate with platform and product teams to support project delivery, major maintenance activities, and continuous service improvements.
  • Stay aligned with the SAP roadmap and internal developments, proposing enhancements to service delivery and actively participating in chapter or cluster initiatives impacting all suppliers in scope.

You bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in SAP, with at least 5 years in a service delivery management role.
  • In-depth knowledge about and experience with Application Managed Services (operations and finances) to be an equal counterpart in discussions (content, concepts, technology) and overlook the services landscape and service providers.
  • Proven SAP functional experience preferably in Supply Chain, Order Management or Manufacturing domain.
  • Experience with on-premises services, cloud services.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership capabilities. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, lead and keep cross-team initiatives moving.
  • Confident in dealing with conflicting interests of various stakeholders that can clash during work.
