The Quality & Compliance Manager defines the level of compliance to applicable external and internal quality related regulations like eg. ISO9001, ISO 22000, FAMI-QS, HACCP, GMP+, QS, customer, or dsm-firmenich requirements. He/she ensures that these SOPs are trained, understood, and followed.

 

Furthermore, he/she shall take all actions to prevent financial, image or reputational damage to the ANH business. This position is the face to the customers to demonstrate dsm-firmenich as a reliable supplier and “the first choice “.

Your key responsibilities

  • Management of Quality and Feed Safety System ensuring compliance to ANH applicable requirements and local regulations and maintenance of applicable certifications
  • Feed Safety-HACCP team leader
  • Responsible to define the multi-year Q-targets together with the site management team based on ANH Regional and Global inputs
  • Define Site Quality Plan following Global Quality Plan
  • Lead and execute when applicable the Quality control related activities ensuring adherence to Global QC Standards and global KPI’s
  • Oversee the inspection of the raw materials and final product quality and release in accordance with internal and external requirements and applicable regulations
  • Ensure adherence to ANH Global KPI and targets and establish as needed site KPI metrics to drive Quality performance, which includes translating regulations from certification scheme into local procedures.
  • Responsible for Site Quality Management System and local Document Management System
  • Supplier Quality Management - suppliers’ qualifications, producers’ qualifications, and raw materials’ qualifications.
  • Audit management (local business process owner), which includes internal audit planning, execution, reporting and coordination of customer / authority audits (end to end) 
  • Lead quality related investigations for incidents like deviations or nonconformities and drive CAPA management (local business process owner)
  • Management of Change (local business process owner) and other processes related to requirements.
  • Management of Customer Complaints including investigation of internal, supplier, and external quality complaints 
  • Lead recall activities
  • Develop and maintain the Site Quality Training Program
  • Collaborates with Commercial Organization on Quality support required for customers.
  • Contribute to Cross functional projects (including DICI)
  • Management of Site Quality budget and resource allocation
  • Responsible when applicable for people management and staff on-boarding

You bring

  • Academic background, preferably in chemistry, Veterinary sciences, Biology, Chemical engineering, or equivalent education.
  • Intimate knowledge and experience in Quality Management Systems; Assessment and implementation of Quality System (SHE/ Security/ISO 9001/GMP/HACCP)
  • Desirable knowledge in powder technology, premix or feed compounding preferred.
  • Ability to document efficiently and structured.
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Good command of English and local language is required.
  • Good communicator with good presentation skills. (remote and face-to-face situations)
  • Highly developed conceptual and analytical skills, good listening and observing.
  • Experience in Quality Management tools such as SAP, Trackwise is preferred.
  • Experience in problem solving and decision making on quality and technical issues.
  • Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
