We have a great opportunity as a Maintenance Manager based in Norway. The purpose of the position is to ensure uptime and safe operation of the plant by leading and following up the daily operation of the maintenance department, including coordination of work tasks in the team. He/She will also be responsible for structurally improving reliability of equipment by execution of FMEA, data analysis and/or optimization of corrective/preventive/predictive maintenance plans.
The technical manager has personnel responsibility for employees in the department. The position is part of the operations management team at the factory, and works closely with other departments. He/She will help ensure that the department and the individual employee work in accordance with dsm-firmenich's business philosophy, values and vision. At the same time, they must ensure that the employees in the department are the best version of themselves, and be an active contributor to a good working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
· Establish a dynamic system for corrective and planned maintenance, ensuring uptime on production lines and packaging lines. Ensure that corrective action is taken if the plan is not adhered to.
· Ensure that maintenance plans for equipment fleet are complied with in line with instructions from suppliers and production, to ensure optimized operation of the facility.
· Purchase of parts, equipment, services in line with current purchasing routine, as well as daily follow-up of selected equipment suppliers.
· Establish and implement SOPs and routines to ensure streamlined and efficient processes in line with the company's overall plans and objectives.
· Participate in IMPACT – continuous improvement work. Overall responsible for the department's incidents in VIS.
· Participate in MOC councils and applicable safety- and security risk assessments teams.
· Ensure optimal operation of the department's resources, both people and machines, based on the department's total needs and in line with the Manufex workprocesses: Do Maintenance, Asset Utilization and Equipment Reliability. This includes having an overview of available expertise in the department, and the need for more/new expertise.
· Ensure goal attainment in accordance with set SHE, quality, and sustainability goals and ensure that LSR and quality manual are systematized and complied with in daily work.
· Maintaining IT-OT systems with support from external companies and Global expertise center, including complaince with Cyber Security requirements.
· Establishing a Digital Roadmap for the maintenance department.
· Support the Project Team with execution of projects at the site.
· Budget responsibility
· Reporting responsibility – monthly reporting of KPIs.
· Follow-up of sick leave, and overtime for employees in the department.
· Conduct performance appraisals and ensure that employees in the department are able to fully exploit their potential. Mapping, and facilitation for development for the individual employee.

You bring:
· Min 5 years of experience in a maintenance role as engineer or manager.
· Min 3 year of experience in leading, inspiring and coaching of team of 5 or more employees.
· Experience in Project management is preferred.
· Master degree in engineering, technology, automatization.
· Experience in working with- and implementation of maintenance software tools like SAP/ Maximo/ etc.
· Interest in being responsible for maintenance of IT-OT-Cyber security systems.
· Continuous imprement mindset with knowledge/experience in aplying 5S, RCA, Lean Manufacturing.
· Fluent in Norwegian and English
· Willing to relocate to Rogaland area.
