Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
Location: Waukesha, WI
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will operate within a team to coordinate, process, and manage all domestic logistics related to our outgoing business flows from our varies production facilities and 3rd party warehouses. This role focusses on ensuring reliable, effective distribution of customer orders with the use of numerous carrier partners and coordination across multiple dsm-firmenich and 3rd party sites. This role’s key performance measurements are around Supply Chain Delivery Reliability, specifically, Transportation Reliability, transportation shipment costs, and timeliness of Supplier Corrective Action Request completion related to customer complaints.
Responsibilities:
- Continuously improve the processes on assigned regional logistics operations, with alignment on regional supply chain strategy, to support business developments in North America and to meet company targets.
- Manage the transportation and documentation of stocks moving throughout the distribution network including delivery notes, transfer orders and shipments.
- Implement operational carrier agreements and act as first operational escalation point for Logistics Service Providers and internal departments with regards to service issues.
- Lead or assist in investigations related to complaint and claim handling for applicable shipments. Follow through to successful closure.
- Provide coding and requested analysis of Transport Reliability (TR) KPIs to improve performance of the overall OTIF%.
- Focus is on ensuring reliable, effective distribution of customer orders with the use of numerous carrier partners and coordination across multiple internal and external 3rd party sites. Ensures the reliable, effective and timely delivery of finished goods to customers.

You bring:
- Bachelors or equivalent experience in Logistics operations OR more than 3 years Logistics experience.
- Pragmatic problem-solving skills in complex, fast moving environments.
- Warehousing and Distribution knowledge in product storage and requirements of domestic shipping practices .
- Knowledge of and experience in other relevant disciplines (Order Fullfilment, Manufacturing, Customs).
- Knowledge of and experience in warehouse management systems.
- High skill in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- SAP or similar ERP system experience.
- Bilingual candidate is a plus (Spanish or Portuguese).
The hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Hourly rate is $31.00-$36.00.
