We are seeking a Lead Specialist GSC Distribution Services to manage end-to-end order processing for a specific region. Responsibilities include ensuring product availability, coordinating transportation, and preparing accurate documentation to meet customer requirements and ensure on-time, in-full delivery (OTIF). 

 

Your key responsibilities  

  • Understand the processes, documentation, and terminology involved in international shipping from time of purchase order issuance through the delivery of the cargo
  • Apply industry knowledge and critical thinking to adapt processes and to create solutions in response to challenges both internally and externally
  • Coordinate tasks on the shipments to meet all customer SOP requirements: booking approvals, processing pre-alerts, governmental filings, executing delivery, ensuring proper invoicing, etc.
  • Collaborate with our international team members and third-party agents to ensure efficiency, excellent customer service and creative problem resolution
  • Build great relationships with customers, responding timely and following up on issue resolution
  • Provide reporting and documentation support to internal and external customers

  • Reward: Based on your experience we will offer you a base salary of € 46,542 to € 66,403 per year (including holiday allowance and 13th month) and extra benefits, such as 25 holiday days, a bonus, the option to buy more holiday days with a 6% my choice budget and much more

 

You Bring  

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain is preferred, but candidates with relevant knowledge, experience, and the right motivation are also encouraged to apply
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and ERP system, preferable SAP
  • Fluent English and any other languages are a plus
  • Good knowledge in Export, Customer Service and Logistics (Distribution & Transportation)
  • Good knowledge in customs and international trade compliance
  • Basic knowledge in Dangerous goods shipments
