Job Title: Lead Specialist GES S2P Procurement Ops

Location: Hyderabad, India

The Lead Specialist – GES Procurement & Supply Chain (P2P) acts as the primary point of contact for all Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) operations, ensuring seamless purchasing, timely invoice processing, and strong stakeholder engagement. This role owns end‑to‑end P2P performance, drives operational excellence, resolves escalations, and supports automation and process standardization. By liaising closely with internal teams and external suppliers, the Lead Specialist enhances compliance, improves service delivery, and contributes to the efficiency and scalability of the global P2P function.

Your key responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary P2P point of contact, handling escalations, exceptions, and daily operational queries from stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Resolve blocked invoices, urgent payment issues, GR/IR discrepancies, and ensure timely procurement and delivery of goods/services.
  • Lead P2P operational meetings, support requisitioners, and deliver process trainings for budget holders and controllers.
  • Handle vendor and internal customer tickets, support supplier calls, and coordinate vendor verification processes.
  • Drive process optimization by performing root‑cause analysis, identifying bottlenecks, and supporting workflow standardization.
  • Support automation initiatives to enhance efficiency, improve transaction accuracy, and scale P2P operations.

You bring

  • Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience in shared services or operations.
  • Minimum 5 years of P2P or shared services experience, preferably with stakeholder‑facing responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of procurement systems such as SAP and Ariba, and analytics tools like Celonis, Sievo, or Tableau.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to handle escalations and provide clear guidance.
  • Ability to apply continuous improvement concepts (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile) to enhance P2P processes.
  • Fluency in English is required; foreign languages such as German or French are an added advantage.
