Your key responsibilities

  • Support the sales increase in complex countries and mid-markets proposing credit risk mitigation solutions ensuring a smooth and straight forward process connected to the documentary collection.
  • Manage from an operational standpoint the documentary business according to the UCP600, ISP98 and URC522 liaising all internal and external interested parties ensuring compliance with procedures and guidelines, retaining all the evidence needed to avoiding payments delays.
  • Credit notes releasing after analysis and validation, customer balance confirmation, analysis of unallocated payments, ad hoc manual invoices.
  • Update and maintain process and training documentation and support the implementation of process improvements.
  • Build a strong partnership with external and internal customers (ie. Banks, Customer Experience dept, Logistic depts, Controlling, Collection Teams).

You bring

  • University Degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of prior experience in credit/trade finance management, accounting or finance.
  • Knowledge base of uniform customs and practice for documentary credit, international standby practices and uniform rules for collections.
  • Proficiency in MS Office pack including Microsoft Excel tools and SAP knowledge.
  • Fluent communication skills in English – both oral and written. Other languages are desirable, such as Spanish.
  • Rigor, precision and time management.
  • Financial management and decision making.
  • Flexibility, team spirit and influencing skills.
