dsm-firmenich has an immediate opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented and motivated Laboratory Technician to join our Technical Development group in the Perfumery & Beauty Division located in Satigny, Switzerland. As a Laboratory Technician you will support proactive and client-initiated fragrance and technology development projects in the laundry detergent category. You will support the high-quality execution of scientific studies and method development that result in winning fragrances and superior consumer-preferred benefits.

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Prepare applied samples in all detergent applications for technical and sensory tests
  • Plan and execute stability testing
  • Develop and implement test protocols
  • Maintain and calibrate lab equipments
  • Report and summarize technical results.
  • Order and maintain lab supplies stock
  • Able to operate GCMS analysis

You bring

 

  • CFC chemical laboratory or BUT / DUT / BTS degree in chemical, pharmaceutical or material science
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a R&D laboratory
  • Collaboration and team spirit
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint with ability to chart and present data
  • Interest in problem solving and able to plan, manage and prioritize multiple simultaneous projects
  • Ability to write and present in both French and English
