Lab Associate, Sample Receipt and Registration

Union, MO - Romer Labs

Onsite, M-F 8am-4:30pm

 

As a Lab Associate, Sample Receipt and Registration your primary responsibilities include receipt and registration of customer samples, confirming that all customer information is current. This is for our Romer Labs division which offers a broad range of innovative products and services covering mycotoxins, food pathogens, food allergens, gluten, GMO, veterinary drug residues and melamine. www.romerlabs.com

Responsibilities:

  • Timely and accurate data entry of customer and sample information into LIMS
  • Inspecting customer samples upon receipt 
  • Communication with the customer whenever questions arise as to what was received
  • Confidential and impartial with customer sensitive information
  • Stocks supplies received in appropriate storage locations
  • Files COA’s in appropriate databases and folders where needed

You bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Sense of responsibility and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail of accuracy of data entry
  • Basic knowledge of ISO 17025 standard a plus
  • Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize daily tasks
  • Capable of lifting 25 pounds consistently throughout the shift and maintaining the ability to walk or stand for the duration of the shift
