You’ll be responsible to:


After successful completion of the 2-year training period, the employee will be offered a position that would be commensurate in nature to the field of training.  This position may be located regionally; as such the Trainee should be open to relocation.


  • Participate in a variety of projects in order to develop knowledge and skills in the area of process engineering.
  • Demonstrate initiative to identify and take advantage of learning opportunities; employees will be expected to provide input and ideas into learning and development plans.
  • Develop skills and knowledge thru active participation and support of manufacturing as needed. Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve manufacturing and quality problems related to methods, processes, equipment, and product design.
  • Knowledge and ability to lead small capital projects, familiar with DSM CAPEX process, project implementation, and execution steps.

What we look for in you

  • BS in Chemical Engineering required; minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.


  • Solid technical writing skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate solid interpersonal skills and build relationships.
  • Basic knowledge of production and manufacturing processes.


What we like to see in your experience:


  • 0 to 2 years of relevant work experience. 
  • Must agree on mobility requirements for regional assignment after the delegated training period.   
  • Must be available to support shift, weekend, and holiday schedules as required.
  • Travel will be required throughout program participation.
