Quality Customer Support Manager

 

You Will:

 

Coordinate the investigation and corrective actions for all product quality complaints for products manufactured or shipped from the Kingstree manufacturing facility. Lead the complaints CAPA team in order to reduce overall Nutritional Lipids complaints. Provide detailed reporting on Nutritional Lipids complaints and TrackWise data for monitoring and trending purposes.

 

Manage the Approved Supplier List (ASL) for Kingstree.  Work with supplier auditing group to ensure current and new suppliers are appropriately audited per an approved audit schedule.  Assure ASL is in compliance with the Management Directive.

 

Co-Lead the HACCP program for Kingstree.  Ensure annual reviews are completed and documented.  Responsible for HACCP reviews as part of the MOC process.

 

Provide leadership and direction for Quality Department personnel

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  1. Assist the Quality Sr. Manager in providing leadership in the implementation and use of the Quality Management System throughout the organization.
  2. Manage the investigation of all product quality complaints, ensuring completion within a timely manner as defined within the limits established in the Management Directive and SAP.
  3. Provide customer complaint trending and reporting of Kingstree CCRs throughout Nutritional Lipids.
  4. Lead the manufacturing site CAPA team in association with all customer complaints.
  5. Act as Quality designee for MOC Committee in the absence of the Quality Sr. Manager.  
  6. When assigned, represent Quality on special project teams and product development teams to identify and correct quality issues. 
  7. Facilitate the communication back to customers on all product quality complaints.
  8. Create and maintain associated procedures as they pertain to job function. 
  9. Report any quality deviations or non-conformances that are observed.
  10. Has the authority to intervene in the event of a quality or safety protocol concern.

You Bring:

 

  • BS degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or related science.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of FDA good manufacturing practices (GMP) 21 CFR Part 117.
  • Ability to understand a complex biological and chemical manufacturing process
  • Knowledge of TrackWise, Documentum and SAP systems.
  • Certification in HACCP is desired but not required to start
  • Knowledge of key aspects and the ability to manage an ASL
  • 6+ years of Quality experience or equivalent experience in a relevant technical discipline
  • Understanding of cGMP/Quality compliance activities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the abilities to present findings to management
  • 3+ years of experience in Root Cause Analysis
