Based in Kaiseraugst, you’ll collaborate with R&D, Project & Product management, and commercial teams to deliver top-quality regulatory support, champion innovation, and make regulatory affairs a true competitive advantage. Your key responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing Regulatory Affairs (RA) Pharma sub-team, ensuring expertise and collaboration with the Director RA Pharma
- Drive global regulatory strategies for the assigned portfolio, ensuring compliance, customer-centricity and strong stakeholder engagement
- Support innovation projects by securing and aligning registrations for new and segment-specific products/ingredients, in close collaboration with business team
- Manage global product approvals and timely submissions for APIs, food, and pharma products, including dossiers (DMFs, CEPs)
- Ensure regulatory compliance and monitor changes in collaboration with Product Management and production sites
- Enhance processes and tools, develop SOPs, coach junior colleagues, and support quality issue management and documentation updates

You bring
- University degree in chemistry or life sciences, with 10+ years in Regulatory Affairs and/or Quality/Production within pharma, ideally vitamins/APIs, with strong understanding of regulatory science and frameworks
- 2+ years leading diverse, multi-geography regulatory teams; skilled in cross-functional collaboration and influencing senior stakeholders
- Experienced in regulatory risk assessment, long-term risk management, and balancing regulatory and business needs while advocating for regulatory priorities
- Able to present complex topics clearly, negotiate effectively, and leverage a broad pharma network including executive-level contacts
- Proficient with regulatory IT systems (Veeva RIMS, Documentum, Trackwise); promotes automation, efficiency, and structured implementation of expert input
- Fluent in English; German and additional languages are advantageous
