Senior Expert, Vitamins Unit, Account Management & Sales (m/f/d)

Join Us at dsm-firmenich, Animal Nutrition & Health, as a Senior Expert in Account Management & Sales within our Vitamins Unit (VU)! Become a key player in driving commercial excellence by supporting our global sales operations with precision, ownership, and innovation. This role is ideal for a proactive, analytical professional with a passion for operational efficiency and customer-centricity. 

 

Your key responsibilities

  • Support the Global Commercial Team with contract management activities, including preparation, tracking, and regular monitoring of contracts to ensure alignment between off-takes and forecasts.
  • Assist in price and rebate management, including updating price lists in SAP and managing floor and flexible pricing updates and providing administrative support for rebate calculations and pay-outs.
  • Contribute to customer service and supply management tasks, such as handling requests related to samples, product information, and regulatory topics.
  • Participate in resolving supply-related issues, managing escalations, coordinating customer complaints, and supporting order releases in collaboration with the regional demand planning team.
  • Support reporting and communication efforts by updating daily sales reports and tracking commercial trends.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate recurring tasks across the end-to-end order-to-cash process.

You bring

  •  A degree in Sales, Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field and 2–3 years of experience in a B2B commercial environment, preferably in a global or regional role.
  •  Proficient use of MS Office and SAP
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English 
  • A proactive and analytical mindset with a drive to solve problems and optimize processes
  • Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and a results-driven attitude.
  • A strong customer-first mindset and the ability to manage client needs and service challenges effectively.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multicultural team environment
