Manager Procurement Large Capital Projects

Location: France
Place of work: Hybrid 


You are responsible for the overall procurement strategy, execution, and supervision of all procurement activities on Large Capital Projects (>€10M). You generate value by implementing sustainable and innovative solutions, value engineering, security of supply, risk mitigation, ensure best TCO (Total Cost of Ownership), cash, compliance and purchase performance. As PPM you simultaneously manage stakeholders, project deliverables and suppliers to achieve the project goals.


Your key responsibilities

 

  • Develop and execute overall project procurement strategy in compliance with requirements, policies and processes
  • Define vendor list for the full external spend, manage RfX process and contracting/ordering process
  • Closely collaborate with colleagues from Group Operational Excellence, the BU’s and Group Procurement
  • Prepare and lead fact-based negotiations and award contracts for all equipment & services required in the projects
  • Mitigate procurement related risks
  • Measure and evaluate supplier performance
  • Enforce, share and implement best practices

  • Proven high learning agility and capability to draft strategies
  • Category Local Market insight in our Industry
  • 5+ yrs experience in CAPEX projects procurement management in multinational environment
  • Contract management skills
  • Act responsibly and work efficiently, selfleader
  • Fluent in French and English 
  • Collaboration excellence, decision making, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Result oriented, emotional intelligence
