Lead Technician (f/m/d)

We are looking for a motivated technician who would like to join a passionate, talented and diverse team. We are seeking someone who likes to apply his/her knowledge on various analytical tasks and requests around application samples from health, nutrition and beauty projects.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Independently plan, prioritize and execute qualitative and quantitative analysis of vitamins and other bioactives for health, nutrition and beauty application samples.

  • Adapt analytical extraction and LC methods by your own or with the help of the scientist

  • Deliver high-quality and rigorous analytical results in a fast-evolving research environment.

  • Manage samples storage and maintain clean and well-organized laboratory/workplace, including the maintenance of the instruments.

  • Maintain appropriate documentation, write SOPs and contribute to scientific reports.

  • Actively contribute to the global safety, health and environment protection in the team and beyond.

You bring:

  • Apprenticeship (EFZ or CFC) as an analytical laboratory technician (additional work experience is a huge plus) or Bachelor’s degree with min. 3-5 years of experience.

  • Hands-on experience in quantitative analysis of ingredients in either food, pharma, cosmetic formulations and applications, using LC and LCMS. Additional knowledge of physical characterization techniques is a plus.

  • Sound knowledge of CDS, LIMS and Office software.

  • Highly motivated, solution-oriented, well-organized and collaborative personality. Can scope well with spontaneity and adaption of priorities.

  • Excellent team spirit, communication, and organization skills.

  • Fluent in English or good English knowledge with fluency in German.
