Global Key Account Manager Aroma (f/m/d)

The Global Key Account Manager Aroma (f/m/d) is responsible for managing and growing both Global and selected Regional Key Accounts. The role focuses on strengthening client relationships, driving revenue growth, ensuring customer satisfaction, and acting as the primary commercial point of contact between the company and its strategic customers and distributors.

 


Your key responsibilities:

 

  • Own and develop designated global and selected regional key accounts, ensuring customer needs, market dynamics, and revenue opportunities are fully understood and translated into measurable commercial results.
  • Execute the Aromas commercial strategy by aligning global and regional customer activities with strategic objectives, sales growth targets, and margin expectations.
  • Identify and drive growth opportunities across olfactive ingredients, intermediates, and potential new molecules, services, or improved ways of working.
  • Navigate a complex commercial and stakeholder environment, managing diverse decision‑makers, contract structures, and regional regulatory requirements across multiple regions.
  • Maintain daily engagement with global, regional customers and distributors, building strong relationships to deliver consistent sales performance and margin improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and report to the Global Sales Director Aroma, ensuring effective execution, governance, and delivery against Aroma strategy and targets.

You bring:

 

  • Master of Science in business administration, life science discipline or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills in English (French and German is a plus)
  • Strong ability to structure and balance multiple stakeholders and priorities
  • Intellectual curiosity and acumen for customer relationship management
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a Commercial role, ideally in the F&F space
  • Broad experience in stakeholder management; being able to reconcile conflicting goals (sales, inventory) with the best overall outcome for the company
  • Availability for international travel of approximately 20–30%, depending on business needs and key account requirements.
