Director, Data Science, Engineering and Modelling

This role is open across three key ANH locations: Switzerland, The Netherlands, and India.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Define and implement the vision and strategy for data science and engineering.
Rapid Prototyping: Coordinate the delivery of fast-paced PoCs as rapid prototyping solutions, alongside the end-to-end delivery of strategic programs.
Operational Oversight: Oversee dev-ops and run-ops for all data science and data engineering projects and programs within our ANH business.
Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships and expectations with key stakeholders, focusing on delivering high-impact solutions.
Change Agent: Foster a data-driven culture and promote digital transformation across the organization.
Collaborative Innovation: Drive the delivery of PoCs, MVPs, and prototypes by collaborating with other D&T teams, such as data visualization and AI.
Team Leadership: Actively participate in the creation and growth of a global data science and data engineering team, fostering and promoting self-development and growth aimed at excellence and impactful delivery of value.

You Bring

Leadership Experience: 3-5 years of leadership experience in driving data engineering, digital innovation, and data science teams to success, combined with several years of hands-on experience, preferably in a manufacturing company.
Thought Leadership: High energy, drive to make a difference, and succeed as a team.
Innovative Mindset: Revolutionary, out-of-the-box, value-centric mindset.
Educational Background: Master's degree in STEM fields, PhD preferred.
Communication Skills: Good communicator with experience in influencing senior management.
Language Skills: Very good English language skills; knowledge of Portuguese or Hindi is a plus.
