Associate Scientist (f/m/d)

We are looking for a motivated scientist who would like to join a passionate, talented and diverse team. We’re seeking someone who likes to apply his/her knowledge on various analytical tasks and requests around application samples from health, nutrition and beauty projects.

Your key responsibilities:

Independently plan, prioritize and execute qualitative and quantitative analysis of vitamins and other bioactives for health, nutrition and beauty application samples and interpret the results.
Adapt methodology (extraction and analytical method) as needed and guide technician or partner laboratories on the process as well.
Represent analytics in multidisciplinary project groups and provide analytical expertise
Contribute to the technical and scientific development of the team.
Collaborate on multidisciplinary and cross-site innovation projects and build strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
Communicate scientific results and project progress to various audiences.
Applying a continuous improvement mindset and implementing improvement measures together with the team.

You bring:

A Master in analytical chemistry, food science or pharmaceutical or a bachelor with 5+ years of experience.
Strong background in qualitative and quantitative chromatography (LC and LCMS) additional knowledge of spectroscopical or physical characterization techniques is a plus.
Knowledge of food, pharma or cosmetic formulations and applications sample preparation.
Willingness to work at the bench.
Open-minded personality and ability to deliver in a cross-functional environment.
Excellent team spirit, communication, inter-domain knowledge, organization skills and networking capacity.
Fluent in the English language (both verbal and written). German language would be an added value.
