Operator Production

Job Title – Production Operator (79110)

Location – Karawang, Indonesia

 

This position reports to the Production Supervisor and is based at the Firmenich Aromatics Indonesia Karawang Plant. The role is responsible for coordinating production activities while ensuring full compliance with Health, Safety, Environment, Food Safety, Quality, and GMP requirements. Key responsibilities include safely operating and monitoring process equipment, recording production data, conducting in-process analysis with QC Analysts, reporting operational issues, implementing 5S and good housekeeping, following applicable procedures, supporting continuous improvement through procedural recommendations, and ensuring compliance with local food safety regulations and requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate one or more of the following Categories of Process Production Activities and may have additional tasks within each:

  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environment, Food Safety, Quality, and GMP policies and procedures.
  • Safely operate and monitor process equipment within the assigned production area.
  • Record and maintain accurate production and process data as required.
  • Perform in-process analysis in coordination with QC Analysts and report any operational issues to Supervisors or Managers.
  • Implement 5S practices and maintain good housekeeping standards in the workplace.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, including recommending procedural enhancements and ensuring compliance with local food safety regulations.

You Bring:

  • Technical vocational school, Polytechnic, or University degree in Food Technology, Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Fresh graduate or 1–3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Positive, structured work attitude with strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and complete multiple requests within deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving ability and adaptability to a fast-paced work environment
