The Inventory Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring inventory accuracy within a citrus manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for conducting routine and on-demand cycle counts, reconciling inventory discrepancies, and supporting traceability and quality assurance in compliance with food safety regulations.
Your key resposibilities
- Safety is our number one priority and your contribution to our safety culture is a must!
- Independently manage inventory cycle count program in SAP as well as other inventory related activities. Operation of forklift, weigh scales and drum handli ired.
- Audit inventory discrepancies, storage bins and procedures in order to provide continuous improvement opportunities to management team.
- Coordinate and lead our waste management program. Be able to organize, consolidate material, and load shipments.
- Ensure all SAP (System, Application and Products) data entry, spreadsheets, and documentation are accurately maintained for traceability and internal control systems
- Follow all SOP ( Standard Operating Procedure) related to all job tasks needed to execute duties while maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse environment following food safety standards.

You bring
- Safety oriented mindset: Safestart is a plus. Strong sense of accountability and collaborative spirit is needed to exceed in this role.
- Associates degree required with a minimum 3 years experience in inventory management and chemical manufacturing/ food GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment.
- Proficient in SAP (Systems, Applications and Products) and advanced in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Analytical thinker with the ability to communicate effectively across different shareholders.
- Able to work in a facility with minimal temperature control, exposed to local temperature variations (hot & cold). Comfortable working with odor(s) in and around the manufacturing environment.
- Must have the ability to operate a forklift. 1-2 years experience with forklift preferred. Able to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for warehouse and working with chemicals. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods is necessary.
