Location – Seoul, South Korea

 

The Inside Sales & Formulations Associate works to promote a value-added offering in a high value market, to formulate premixes consisting of vitamins, minerals and other required feed additives, for Animal Nutrition & Health applications.

 

As a critical member of the ANH Commercial Team in South Korea, the Inside Sales & Formulations Associate is a key liaison for Account Managers (who directly support customers) and is the primary liaison with the QA team at the production site, as well as an important link to Production and Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) teams.

 

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulations / Sales and marketing assistance
    • Be responsible for implementation of all formulation requests (new and revisions) and supporting documentation as received from customers.
    • Ensure the completed formula is available for costing by the AM.
    • Ensure formulations approved by customer are available in full and on time for Production and respond in a timely manner to any production requests regarding the formulations (or ingredients within the formulas).
    • Utilizing your knowledge of animal production and premix manufacturing, provide input on ingredient compatibilities, alternative ingredients and other aspects of premix manufacturing to provide assistance to the Purchasing, Production and Logistics teams to continually improve efficiencies, optimize cost and premix quality.
    • Provide commercial materials to improve customer knowledge of ANH products/services as needed.
    • Selectively participate in trade shows, meetings and industry events.
    • Assist with the preparation and submission of customer-required documents, such as quotations (Incl. system processing and email submission as well)
    • Maintain accurate account files of all customer’s product related information, and project data.
    • Build a network within Animal Nutrition & Health to direct, or in a timely manner, respond to a customer’s inquiry or need.
    • Seek advice or input from ANH team members for “Out of Scope” customer requests.
    • Continually increase communication and relationship building skills, as well as knowledge of products, services and markets.
  • Projects / Special Assignments
    • Process, test and report on all lab tests necessary to support ANH sales and MKT.
    • Analyse results reported by customers based on trial feedback and make necessary adjustment to meet or improve nutritional values through account managers.
    • Undertake other projects as requested e.g. safety and wellbeing, business excellence, improvement initiatives.
    • Planning and development tools for marketing - e.g. gimmicks for the customers, local customer events, Brochures written by local language etc.
    • Handling expenses related with sales and MKT activities.
    • Undertake reasonable additional duties as required.

You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Masters highly preferred.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of intensive livestock production systems.
  • Demonstrate understanding of animal premix or feed manufacturing processes.
  • Motivated, energetic self-starter, with ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast paced, highly visible department and ever-changing environment.
  • Resourceful, assertive individual with ability to recognize and deliver insights and solutions to internal and external customers.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills needed for tracking, managing, and analyzing customer formulations and revision history.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills as well as relationship building skills for interacting with internal and external customers.
  • Results-oriented individual with an ability to be flexible and creative in order to manage a variety of customer requests and requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and confident in making decisions, as it relates to obtaining information for internal and external customer requests.
  • Continually strive to increase skills and knowledge, a growth mindset personally and for the business and customers.
  • Prior work experience with identifying, creating and managing projects highly desirable.
  • Proficient in computer skills including MS Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
