Import Logistics Executive

Job title – Import Logistics Executive

Location – Singapore

 

As an Import Logistics Executive, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and timely clearance and receipt of inbound shipments. You will be responsible for coordinating customs clearance and accurately processing incoming goods in SAP to support efficient supply chain operations.

 

 

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Ensure that Incoming shipments are received in SAP in a timely manner to foster customer satisfaction, and pro-actively communicate delivery related information and mitigation plans (where appropriate) to stakeholders
  • Ensure that service providers (including customs brokers and transport partners) operate in a safe, compliant manner in accordance with both quality standards and business regulations
  • Review, develop, monitor, and enforce the appropriate Service Level Agreement with service providers
  • Engage internal and external stakeholders to align operational imperatives and deliverables
  • Initiate and manage projects related to service, efficiency and / or savings improvements and drive all team members to engage in Continuous Improvement initiatives for their respective area of responsibility
  • Direct and coordinate with external warehouse regarding inbound shipments

You bring

 

  • Diploma/Degree holder majoring in Supply Chain or business-related discipline
  • 3 to 5 years relevant experience in International/cross border logistics
  • Valid professional certification relating to international and local Dangerous Goods regulations: IATA, IMDG preferred
  • Good knowledge of International/cross border logistics process and Incoterms                            
  • Experience with Letter of Credit will be advantageous
  • Experience with SAP Shipping & Transportation module is a plus
