Job Title:                         Business Administrator - Heanor

We have a permanent vacancy within the ANH Department for a well organised and multiskilled Business Administrator to provide a first class support across the following functions: Purchasing, Sales and Marketing and Reception.


The responsibilities include:


Providing support to our busy Purchasing team, you will be responsible for some aspects of indirect purchasing. Raising purchase requisitions to create purchase orders on SAP. Expediting orders, managing Vendor records, updating prices and purchase conditions. Maintain appropriate databases in and outside of SAP and where applicable manage inventory and restocking levels.


In addition to supporting the Purchasing department you will be responsible for booking all travel requirements for our S&M team and Heanor/Belfast based management. This will include; Airline bookings, hotels, taxi transfers, hire cars, trains, car parking.  Identifying appropriate conference and training venues, credit card reconciliations, recording accurate flight/travel schedules and some customer quotes.

You will provide general office administration support as appropriate, providing cover for Reception, including the mail and export documentation, plus any other adhoc administration duties to support the business.


Successful candidates will be expected to have qualifications in either, Purchasing, Business Administration, Customer Services and/or have several years’ experience working in an office environment.   You must have SAP experience and a good working knowledge of MS Office applications.   


We are looking for someone to join our team who has the ability to assess and prioritise the workload, has an eye for the detail, has clear communication skills, enjoys the challenge of solving problems and who is positive and confidential.


This is a varied, central and interesting role, the successful candidate will liaise with all areas of the Business, specifically, Sales and Marketing, Customer Services and Logistics.
