Job title: Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager

The (HSE) Manager in an international company is responsible for ensuring compliance with Polish and global safety regulations, minimizing risks, and promoting a strong safety culture across all operations at the site. This role is exciting and unique because it involves working across diverse teams, adapting best practices to different environments, and driving continuous improvement. Your key responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain SHE policies and procedures in line with legal requirements, regulatory standards, and corporate guidelines

Identify, assess, and manage workplace and environmental risks through regular risk assessments, site inspections, and corrective actions

Lead safety training, awareness programs, drills, and communication initiatives to ensure employees understand safety, emergency, and environmental responsibilities

Monitor and ensure compliance with local, national, and international HSE regulations, including audits, reporting, and regulatory interactions

Investigate incidents, accidents, and near‑misses, identify root causes, document findings, and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence

Drive continuous improvement in safety culture and environmental performance, including contractor management, emergency preparedness, sustainability initiatives, and HSE performance reporting

You bring
- Proven experience in Health, Safety, and Environmental management within an operational or industrial environment, ideally in an international company
- Strong knowledge of local Polish regulations and global HSE standards, with the ability to ensure compliance and manage audits effectively
- Confidence in working with external stakeholders such as authorities, inspectors, and certification bodies, combined with strong communication skills
- Fluency in Polish and English, enabling effective collaboration with both local teams and global counterparts
- A hands-on, proactive mindset with the ability to identify risks, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement on-site
- A collaborative and accountable approach, aligned with company values, with the ability to influence others and build a strong safety and sustainability culture
