As an HRBP, you will serve as a strategic partner to the business, providing expert HR guidance and support to our manufacturing operations. This position serves as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and provides HR guidance and support to ensure the effective implementation of HR programs/initiatives at site level. You will play a critical role in managing employee relations, labor negotiations, and HR initiatives in a unionized setting. Your goal will be to foster a positive workplace culture that aligns with our business objectives and promotes employee engagement and satisfaction.

We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our Dalry team and support our mission.
Your key responsibilities
• Partner with manufacturing leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals.
• Manage employee relations issues, ensuring prompt and effective resolution while maintaining positive employee relations.
• Collaborate with union representatives to negotiate collective bargaining agreements and address employee concerns.
• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Lead projects to implement changes in relation to systems and/or benefits
• Conduct investigations into employee complaints, grievances or disciplinaries, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.
• Identify key talent and high-potential employees, working closely with managers to develop and implement robust development plans. Collaborate with corporate HR and learning and development teams to deliver training programs that enhance employee skills and competencies
• Analyse HR metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable plans.
• Support recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
• Ensure compliance with all dsm-firmenich requirements and UK local employment laws and regulations.
• Drive diversity and inclusion initiatives to create an inclusive workplace culture.

You bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of HR experience in a unionized manufacturing environment or similar.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and collective bargaining.
• Proven experience in managing employee relations and resolving workplace issues.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build effective relationships at all levels of the organization
• Demonstrated experience in strategic workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development
• Sound analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
