Location – Singapore
This role is responsible for supporting the implementation of Group Communications strategies across key APAC markets, including Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Australia. The scope of work covers business communications, employee and internal communications, external stakeholder engagement, and digital and brand communications to ensure alignment with global priorities.
Reporting to the Group Communications Director, APAC & China, this individual will play an important role in driving consistent messaging, strengthening employee engagement, and enhancing the organization’s reputation with external audiences such as media across the region.
Your key responsibilities
- Act as communications generalist and team member of the regional communications team to enhance and protect brand & reputation in APAC
- Drive assigned priorities & tasks in internal communications, media outreach, narrative development, spokesperson profiling, crisis communications, digital & social media activations, and sustainability.
- Ensure consistency of corporate messaging and branding in regional key languages, creating messaging that resonates with respective local audiences, taking into account cultural and linguistic differences
- Support two-way communication between the global and local organization, creating success stories, sharing best practice, raising functional needs and issues
- Contribute to ad-hoc Group Communications global projects
- Support delivery of the global comms priorities: events, townhalls, comms channels, awareness campaigns, stakeholder engagement etc.

You bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or Chemistry
- Minimum 5 years of PR agency, media or in-house communications experience
- Experienced and strong in interpersonal communications, project execution & management, and written & verbal communication
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative communication ideas
- Strong understanding of at least 2-3 regional markets
- Strong understanding of APAC/regional media & social media ecosystem and proficiency in using digital communications tools
