Summer 2026 Internship Program – Operations Engineer Internship 

Location: Germantown WI

We are currently looking for a Operation Engineer Intern at our Germantown WI office.


The 2026 dsm-firmenich Summer Internship Program will run from June 1, 2026 to August 14, 2026.

 

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in process improvement by analyzing workflows and supporting efficiency initiatives.
  • Collect and report operational data to track performance and identify trends.
  • Support engineering projects through documentation, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

You Bring:

  • Currently working on completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Food Science, or related field.
  • Candidates must be available to work full-time on-site beginning on June 1, 2026 to August 14, 2026.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize and parse data.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.

 


The hourly rate for this position is $23.00 - $26.00 per hour.  Compensation will be dependent on factors that include location, education, training, specific skills, and years of experience.
