Your key responsibilities

  • Lead and execute all financial reporting, accounting, and closing activities for your legal entity, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of actuals for both internal and external (statutory) reporting purposes
  • Ensure compliance with dsm-firmenich accounting rules, IFRS, and local GAAP to maintain the integrity of financial statements and management reports
  • Prepare annual financial statements and ensure timely submission of all statutory and fiscal obligations, including VAT, withholding tax, CIT
  • Manage the annual external audit
  • Monitor and analyze balance sheet accounts for accuracy, completeness, and compliance; proactively resolve open items and discrepancies
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Drive the financial closing process, including pre-close meetings, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring compliance with group deadlines and quality standards

You bring

  • A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills for financial monitoring and reporting, ability to identify inefficiencies and drive process improvements
  • Accounting proficiency with strong knowledge of local GAAP and IFRS, experience in tax filings and financial reporting, strong understanding of accounts receivable, reconciliations, and overdue payment management
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and internal controls, ability to ensure audit readiness and maintain financial integrity
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar software
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Fluency in Polish & English is a must
