As Financial Analyst you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting operational financial activities including controls, analysis, and reporting of the BU´s sites. You will provide financial advice and insight to help improve the business and decision-making process.

Support the areas of plant to ensure that financial targets of BUs operating in the region are met.

Your key responsibilities

 

 

  • Monitor the development of key performance indicators and analyze (financial) performance for plants and Supply Chain.
  • Support the control of all Cost Accounting operations.
  • Support the month-end closing analysis and prepare monthly financial operational reports for the site.
  • Shares best practices across team, e.g., process improvements, financial modelling, and procedures changes.
  • Collaborate with Site Manager & Plant Teams to explain results, make improvements, manage, or support projects, identify inefficiencies, understand operations, and lead the development of complex analysis.
  • Monitor and implement plant internal controls (in conjunction with corporate policies) as necessary to ensure reporting integrity, safeguard company assets, and identify risks.
  • Product costing/raw material/cycle design & output consumption analysis.
  • Monitor all physical inventory adjustments and perform financial audits on an annual basis;
  • Support or manage the budget process of the plants and Supply Chain.
  • Ensures proper accounting in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles as well as local statutory requirements (Fixed Assets & CAPEX);
  • Support in business cases, DICI, etc;
  • Operate within the regional operations control team and work on optimizing and harmonizing financial processes & reporting and implementing best practices across dsm-firmenich.

 

You Bring

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineer or any area related.
  • Intermediate level of English
  • Strong knowledge in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Word, SAP.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact and negotiate with different stakeholders.
