The Facilities Manager will actively lead the planning, design review, and integration of construction projects; ensure the physical condition of all building and ground across the campus; and develop short- and long-range strategic goals and objectives. Provide leadership, for site facilities road map, development of the strategies alliance in a major manufacturing plant, including management/coordination of external engineering resources, (contractors and suppliers) preparation of bid packages, design reviews, project management and compliance with local/state/federal codes and regulations.for assessing the facility’s resource requirements.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee and manage the execution of major facility projects such as system installations, expansions, or upgrades, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and budget constraints.
  • Develop, review, and optimize the facilities strategy, including infrastructure systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, air compressors, boilers, bulk chemical systems, and other infrastructure s assigned, aligning with long-term organizational needs.
  • Manage contractors and vendors, including evaluating bids, negotiating contracts, and monitoring performance to ensure project milestones are met and SHE/OSHA standards are followed.
  • Develop and manage the facilities budget, including both capital expenditure (CapEx) and operational expenditure (OpEx), with a focus on cost control, forecasting, and identifying opportunities for operational efficiency and cost savings.

You Bring:

  • 8+ years of experience in facility management in a regulated environment.
  • 8+ years of supervisory or management experience (technical staff, engineering) and other staff (line or staff) positions.
  • Experience with organizational change processes; experience with developing and managing budgets.
  • Knowledge of GMPs desired.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills to provide information to others by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person. • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of personnel.
  • Expertise in the use of MS Office, Word and Excel, CMMS program and BAS (Building Automation system);knowledgeable in the use of AutoCad Lite.
  • Expert knowledge and experience working with manufacturing machinery and tooling in a medical device environment or related industry; strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience working with Facility systems associate plant operations (Boilers, Chillers Cooling tower, Substation, emergency generator, Uninterruptible power supplies, MCC panels and detailed electrical delivery equipment tools.
  • Execute the job within the applicable dsm-firmenich, OSHA, EPA, ISO, FDA, CE, IBC, NEC & other requirements.
