DSM Biomedical is looking for a Warehouse Associate I supporting Warehouse responsibilities in Exton.  Come join our growing team!


In the role of Warehouse Associate I, you will:

 

  • Perform receiving and shipping tasks efficiently accurately.
  • Perform inventory cycle counts, run inventory variance reports, fulfill inventory request transfers and coordinate with both purchasing and customer service departments.
  • Deal with complex problems that must be broken down into manageable pieces.
  • Utilize knowledge, experience and available resources to find solutions. May participate in development of improvements and help implement change.
  • Collaborate with team; share relevant information with those who may be affected by decisions. Participate in formal or informal group problem solving for immediate issues.
  • Interact with others, employing a communication style appropriate to the person or audience. Seek additional information to enhance understanding.
  • Communicate basic established processes and procedures, formally or informally. May initiate and compose various types of basic business communication.
  • Make decisions guided by specific policies and objectives within which frequent decisions are required. Assists in formulating recommendations on difficult problems.
  • Travel to sterilizer facility a few days a week.

 

The Ideal Candidate will Possess:

 

  • 1-3 years’ experience in warehousing and or distribution, generally in biotechnology, chemical or food manufacturing environment.
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • Valid drivers license.
  • Experience utilizing domestic and international shipping processes.
  • Experience in the use Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) systems.
  • Forklift operation and hazardous material experience.
  • Experience working within an ISO 9000 and/or GMP environment.
  • DOT HM123-F / 49CFR / IATA Dangerous Goods Certified preferred.
  • Proficient using MS Word, Excel, Outlook & SAP.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
