The Master Facilitator/Continuous Improvement Engineer is responsible for identifying deployment projects and managing risks, being a key communicator to the Global Leadership Team,  managing multi-year transformations and providing mentorship and the development of the Site Facilitators.

You will be responsible to:

  • Oversee the execution of critical operations activities to create the focus around continuous improvements.
  • Identify business cases and manage risks and stakeholders for a site/SCM deployment.
  • Develop CI action plans, support the training programs on site to Site Facilitators and other team members in adherence to the DSM Integral Continuous Improvement (DICI) program.
  • Participate with and contribute to the regional network of facilitators.
  • Support lessons learned to capture deployment learnings (i.e., risks, concerns, etc.).
  • Accountable to ensure re-calibrations and health checks are conducted.
  • Determine how and when Best Practices are implanted at sites within the business group.
  • Meet with key stakeholders as required to ensure proper resourcing of activities, and ensure critical action items ownership and timing constraints are communicated clearly.
  • Ensure timely completion of critical operations activities in order to meet DSM Biomedical business needs.

What we look for in you:

  • BS Degree in Engineering or related field and/or equivalent experience. 
  • 10 or more years of experience in the medical device industry is preferred or other highly regulated environment.
  • LSSBB or MBB is a plus.
  • Proven history/ knowledge of (e.g., Manuflex) and change initiatives in manufacturing.
  • Experience in cultural change, OpEx, Cl, or LSS transformations.
  • Track record of execution of continuous improvement or cultural change projects.
  • Business acumen to understand impacts to all functions within the organization, including those that are not involved in the transformation/s.
  • Accomodate 25-30%
