Expert Supply Planning Health Nutrition and Care EMEA

Job title: Expert Supply Planning Health Nutrition and Care EMEA
Location: Venlo, the Netherlands 
 
 
Health Nutrition and Care Europe is active throughout all Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), supplying vitamins and carotenoids to the food, pharmaceutical and personal care industries. Our planning team ensures optimal inventory levels by balancing Availability to Promise (ATP) with service levels defined by the business unit. We aim to prevent stock-outs and delays while avoiding excess inventory and expiration. By providing efficient inventory planning for HNC Europe, we maintain accurate and proactive communication across the Supply Chain and Customer Care. We analyze and address short- and medium-term shortages, collaborating closely with commercial management to level out inventories. Regular updates on short-term shortages support monthly rollouts, and we provide reliable ATP information to Customer Care. Additionally, we support the S&OP process in the EMEA region and lead the STR, ensuring adherence to system settings and master data accuracy.
 
 
 
Your key responsibilities 
  • Manage proactively transfer of inventories to Area Europe based on incoming orders
  • Manage inventories and safety stocks in line with demand i.e., historical data versus booked orders, seasonality’s, forecast
  • Communicate proactively and responsively progress on blocked orders to Customer Care and HNC EMEA segment leads
  • Manage shelf life in line with the FEFO principle, aiming to ensure requested remaining shelf life is available to customers, and as little material as possible expires (or requires re-testing for shelf-life extension)
  • Release of blocked orders in close collaboration with commercial management
  • Actively supports S&OP process in EMEA region

  • Based on your experience we will offer you a base salary of € 60,000 to € 85,000 per year (including holiday allowance and 13th month) and extra benefits, such as 25 holiday days, a bonus, the option to buy more holiday days with a 6% my choice budget and much more
 
You bring  
  • Background in Supply Chain Management – solid understanding of supply chain principles and processes
  • Excellent English Communication Skills – fluency in both written and spoken English is essential
  • Strong Prioritization Skills – ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, especially under pressure
  • High Attention to Detail – accuracy, consistency, and reliability in all tasks
  • Adaptability & Open-Mindedness – being comfortable with change and receptive to new ideas and approaches
  • Business & Process Orientation – proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency
