As a Poultry Business Development Expert, you will lead strategic initiatives to expand our poultry business across Turkey and the Middle East. Your deep industry knowledge will be key to building and nurturing partnerships, driving sales, and contributing to our overall success. – applicants must reside in a city with proximity to an international airport (e.g., Istanbul, Izmir, Ankara, Antalya, Adana, etc.).

Your key responsibilities

Strategic Support: Contribute to the execution of the Animal Nutrition & Health (ANH) strategy, with a strong focus on Performance Solutions.
Trial Planning & Execution: Lead all local field trials (universities and customer trials), and manage early customer engagement trials in collaboration with Global Innovation to ensure robust trial development, data quality, and customer experience.
Training & Sales Collaboration: Provide local product and species training to Account Managers and Technical Sales Managers. Co-own the planning and execution of Performance Solutions sales activities.
Market & Competitive Monitoring: Track market trends, environmental factors, and competitor activity to support proactive product and service development, leveraging strengths and addressing threats or opportunities.
Cross-Functional Engagement & Technical Support: Maintain regular communication with other departments to reinforce customer-centricity. Support the development of effective technical service solutions by providing analytical expertise for the poultry segment.
Compliance & Regulatory Coordination: Ensure poultry-related activities comply with DSM standards and policies. Establish contacts with authorities to coordinate product registration processes in collaboration with the Regulatory Affairs Manager.

You bring

Bachelor’s degree preferred in Veterinary Medicine, Agricultural Engineering, or Animal Nutrition/Science.
Minimum 5–7 years in Animal Nutrition, specifically in the Poultry category, with strong commercial and project management skills.
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, selling, negotiating, and communication abilities; customer-oriented and results-driven.
Self-motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Native Turkish speaker with fluent English; available for travel and holds a valid driving license.
