Job Title: Expert GES MDM Processes

Location: Barcelona, Spain

This role is instrumental in designing and aligning Master Data Management (MDM) processes with business needs and group-wide policies, contributing to lean solution design within a specialized MDM domain.

Your key responsibilities

  • Design and Align MDM Processes: Develop master data creation and maintenance processes that meet business needs, align with group policies, and ensure consistency across the organization.
  • Lead Technical Integration: Collaborate with IT and MDM Technical Solutions to implement MDM solutions in SAP backend systems and Informatica platforms.
  • Support Projects and Audits: Contribute to M&A and ERP projects by defining master data setups, lead solution implementation work packages, and support audits (e.g., ISO, customer audits).
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain continuous dialogue with process stakeholders and MDM Operations to validate processes and drive improvements.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Ensure all owned processes are properly documented and compliant with standards; maintain up-to-date data assets and catalogs.
  • Operational Support and Improvement: Provide third-level support to MDM Operations, monitor continuous improvement initiatives, and animate workshops to drive decisions.

You bring

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Master Data Management.
  • Language & Communication: Fluent in English (written and spoken), with strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Cultural Exposure: Experience in a multinational company and exposure to diverse cultures. Open and inclusive mindset.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor.
  • Technical & Interpersonal Strengths:
    • Strong SAP expertise in master data objects and proficiency in process modeling and design.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work positively with a wide range of individuals.
    • Capable of animating workshops, driving decisions, and managing work packages autonomously while being a team player.
