DSM is looking for a Master Production Scheduler at our Engineering Plastics site located in Evansville, IN.


This individual will balance Supply and Demand to achieve corporate targets for On-Time / In-Full, Days Duration of Inventory, and Yield/Obsolescence %.  Solid analytical skills are needed to manage data and execute planning processes to optimize production across multiple extrusion lines to achieve these targets. In the role of Master Production Scheduler, you will:

  • Comply with SHE aspects of planning and scheduling and local regulations related with Order-to-Cash and Supply Chain planning processes.
  • Create production schedules in SAP using modules IBP and ECC and back order processing in ECC.
  • Responsible for finished goods management to maintain high customer service level by optimizing inventory levels.
  • Responsible for raw material availability for process order and obsolete reduction.
  • Adept at prioritizing market demand fluctuations and issues with raw material shortages.


The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor/Master degree in Operations Management, Logistics, Finance, Engineering or other technical discipline preferred. Will also consider candidates with equivalent experience and demonstrated career progression. 
  • At least 5+ years’ experience with a variety of Supply Chain Management concepts and procedures e.g. MRP, Inventory Coverage, Operating Working Capital, Demand Planning, OTIF (On Time In Full).
  • Preferred experience in supply planning & logistics/demand.
  • Experience in SAP Materials Management and Sales and Distribution functions.
  • Experience in Business Warehouse reporting system and Power BI.
  • Experience in MS office, especially strong Excel skills.
  • Demonstrated statistical and analytical skills.
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP preferred
  • Six Sigma training preferred
  • Self-disciplined and self-steering
